Come celebrate art, community, and new beginnings during our Silver Lining Project happening June 19 - September 19 at theCOMMONS.
You can appreciate the artwork on display and visit our Silver Lining Pop-Up Shop at both theCOMMONS Thonglor (Village, Fl.1) and Saladaeng (Fl.3) to bring some art home.
The Silver Lining project is our effort to nurture optimism and happiness within the community by sharing beautiful artwork that is integrated into our surroundings. We believe that every difficult situation creates an opportunity for positive change. These are the silver rays of hope that light our way forward. This is especially relevant as we experience life after Covid-19.
We realize that the artistic community is among those significantly affected by the pandemic. One impact is the lack of venues, events, and places for artists to showcase their work. We are, therefore, offering theCOMMONS as an exhibition space. We have asked the artists to submit work that portrays the uplifting side of life after the pandemic and their interpretations of the positive aspects that can result from these hard times.
Whenever you visit theCOMMONS, simply enjoy the artwork on display. You can also scan the QR codes to learn about the artists and the stories behind their work. See something you like? Well, you can buy it, too! Each piece is for sale. Not only does this directly benefit artists, but 10% of the proceed goes towards our Common Compassion initiative which helps community members in need.
We invite you to explore these uplifting art pieces and find your own silver lining.
